 Just when I started to like the book.................
This book started off rather slow but picked up in the middle. I was actually worried and thought I would have to take the book back to the store. But then I got to the end.............I don't know what to say, maybe the author just wanted to hurry up and finish the book. But the ending was terrible and unbelievable. Had it not been for the ending, I would have rated it better.

In Rich Man's Baby we are introduced to Tanisha,Adrienne and Dionne.Tanisha is in her 30's and is divorced with three kids and Adrienne is a nurse in her 20's who is tired of working hard.Adrienne and Tanisha work at the same place but don't really know each other but soon becomes friends and then they start going out, hitting the party scene in search of NBA ballers.Dionne just finished school and is a new lawyer who is currently engaged to be married but can't leave her ex beau Kevin alone who plays ball in Italy but soon comes back to the US to play.Kevin and Tanisha hit it off and Dionne is furious and deranged.Adrienne lands a NBA baller and gets pregnant by him then he finds out about her past.The book was slow through the beginning but quickly picked up.Once it did it was hard to put down but when I got to the end...well let's just say it could have been better.I really didn't like the ending.I found it unrealistic.I know it's fiction but it could have been better than it was.I liked Daaimah's earlier books way better than this one and All I Want Is Everything.I hope the next book is better.

Rich Man's baby was a decent read. I enjoyed it, as each character went through their different stages of finding what they thought would be love. However, the ending baffled me and had me looking for more pages. It is my hopes that this book is a sequel, as much as I don't like the sequel thing, I hope it is a sequel. For the last page the author started another conversation on an already existing problem in the book... but then the reader is just left hanging....so all in all ...I would recommend this book if it is indeed a sequel in the works.

This was a good read. It was a little slow for me in the beginning but I finished reading it nonetheless! This was sad to see two women go to any lengths to find a man with money. All sense of self worth had gone right out the window! Athletes...beware! This was an okay read but it wasn't Daaimah's best work. I still recommend picking it up.
 Daaimah's Best Book!
I've been a fan of Daaimah's since her first book, Yo Yo Love. This author is all grown up now and her new novel, A Rich Man's Baby is her best books. Daaimah has definitely stepped up her game and that's saying a lot because all her novels are page turners. Now, I'm impatiently waiting for the sequel to this one.
